Mistakes are going to happen. Some will be big, other’s will be small and almost never noticeable. But depending on how the individual views perfection, it is easy for people to get stuck dwelling in their past mistakes to the point where it is almost immobilizing.

Venting is okay, but there is never a time and place for gossip.
A lot of times it's easy to get gossip and venting confused. But they are no where close to being the same. The only reason things become dangerous is because venting turns from relieving stress and talking through things to focusing on the negative. We need to actively replace our negative words and thoughts with positive ones to lift people up. Not everything needs to be a "roast" session of someone behind their back (or to their place).
